Yes my friends, i am basically a slave to the house rhythm and a DJ for life. Started way back in the very early 90's and have never lost my love of music. Progressed from jumping around like a lunatic in a tent on a regular basis to being a club DJ once the scene had moved into the nightclubs and away from big tent events such as Raindance, Energy, Cryptonite.....if you're old enough to remember lol

My name is Jez. I'm not a past or active DJ. I'm just an old codger who has been massively into jazz, funk and soul since 1980, I'm passionate about the music and am at my happiest when digging into my personal collection of 5,000 albums. I ran my own internet radio station called Radio Soul for a short while in 2019 and I still produce occasional shows purely for upload to radio sites. I have been involved with music since my early school age. I used to only listen to music... After a period of time, I started to dedicate more time to music and spin at various events as a DJ playing various kinds of music. It was in 1999 when everything changed, house music has found me. I was interested in everything about house music - house music genres, DJs etc. I have listened to many radio shows and read magazines about dance/house music. I have met a lot of new friends with whom I later played at regular house music events. I was a resident DJ for about 2 years in a local club with DJs RUMcajZ & MASH. We also used to play at various parties outside of our home town. I have been amazed and influenced by Caribbean and Brazil elements in house music. And because of that, my musical taste have been leaning towards Latin house music in past years. Of course, I have not forgotten about vocal-funky-jazz house which represents the root of house music to me. I have fallen in love with house music. It is my life, my hobby, my relax, my everything ... :)

House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Branko Milovanovic aka DJ Buttke and also DJ Sexy Buttke started DJ-ing in 1993. He was playing Acid Jazz & Funk in several small clubs in Novi Sad. In 1997 he started to spin more and more electronic dance music (Jazz House & Deep House). Buttke played music in all Novi Sad's major clubs, and at all major events and venues in the city, and he also had few succesful gigs in nearby cities. He was a resident DJ on the first Exit Festival 2000 in Novi Sad, and also played on Exit 2002 as a part of DJ Unity crew. At the same time Buttke started DeepLink project with his soul mate DJ Dacha, with one single goal: to present and promote quality house music.
