I've been into dance music since the 80s and have been lucky enough to be involved in the scene for many years. I still love mixing and am now starting to produce my own tracks. I enjoy a variety of styles and am influenced from all kinds of music not just the obvious dance stuff. So hit the follow and do comment as feedback is always appreciate, enjoy the ride. I got into mixing when owning a music room on Paltalk about 10 years ago, and got curious how people were playing and mixing music, so eventually I acquired a software program called Traktor, which was fun to experiment with, but quite hard work. I managed to master the basics, but not a fully fledged mixer. In 2008 I met my partner DJ Graphite, who introduced me to Virtual DJ, which was a lot more user friendly, he showed me the ropes, and the rest is history as they say, and my love of music has grown more and more. I dont put myself out there as a proper DJ, as i dont use decks or CDJs etc, but think that I am pretty good at mixing and mashing, as I do love creating mashups lol. Started DJing in 1987 with the all-time standard Technics 1200's along with a Numark mixer. I soon discovered the beauty of mixing on a rotary mixer (Urei 1620) a few years later. As the years past, I started trying and eventually moving through various rack mountable dual CD players and then CD turntables including Denon DN2000, DN9000, DN5000's, Technic DZ1200's, and of course CDJ-1000's. I switched from my Urei 1620 mixer to a Pioneer DJM-800 (and added the rotary kit). With regards to software, I started using Serato in 2007 but once I used Traktor I switched and haven't looked back.

Since getting a pair of decks a year ago as a new hobby, I've learnt that mixing is not just a hobby. After that penny dropped, I've branched out from House, to Progressive & Balearic Trance, Electro and PsyTrance. Thanks to the heavens for the music I say. Having graduated from The Egg (808) DJ Academy, I have played in various venues in London, recently ventured over to Calgary, and now am turning my sights to other parts of the world. DJ Xterminate (Dave Howe) began producing Electronic Dance Music in January of 2009. He started out producing numerous tracks on a computer program called Mixcraft 4. Then, he began producing his tracks on Ableton Live. That is when his music really took off. DJ Xterminate put out his first album called, Nature's Realm in April, 2010 which featured the hit, View from the Cosmos. His radio show, DJ Exterminate's Trance Session has aired on Powermix FM Radio, Absolute Tunage Radio, DT FM Radio, and 1Worldtrance Radio.
