After serving ten long hard years in the British army I managed to fall right into the middle of what was known as the underground rave scene in 1992.A very good friend of mine introduced me to Martin P who was running a very large drum and bass night at the( Rivermead Sports Centre) holding up to six thousand ravers in Reading. This production was called (Swing Big Time Promotions )held nights such as Red October One and Two hosting very big names such as DJ Carl Cox, Grooverider, MickyFinn, Sl2, Randall, Ltj Bookham etc - to be honest the list is to long to mention. I got to meet and speak with these gods and they inspired me to become a DJ . After mastering the tools required, I was signed to an agency who provide DJ’s for well-known outdoor events. The first production I was involved with was the fabulous (Universe Productions )who had hosted the many great outdoor rave scene involving up to twenty thousand people having the best time known to man dancing through to the end of the weekend every week. Universe then moved on up in the scene and founded in what I think was the best club night ever. And yes, not unless you have guessed, the Famous( Club UK )in Wandsworth, London. DJ’s were queuing to get into this Venue to play along side myself ,Trevor rockliffe, Gailsan, Brenda Russell, Colin Favour, Carl Cox, Mark EG, Colin Dale, Billy Nasty, Alien Trax ,(Paul Curtis and Max Amino) ,Lab 4, Pendragon (Beamish, oboren) . After the closure of (CLUB UK) (in fact the Police closed down!) I left to move to sunny Bournemouth to get involved in the club scene by the sea.Well what a shock! It wasn’t just London HAVING IT - it was every were I went! During my long stay in Bournemouth I was invited to host a two hour show on( KFM 106.7) which I did for a year, playing in most of the venues up to as far as the (country club )in Yeovil. During my long stay I had the pleasure working alongside Bob Povey, Si and Seth Sanjez, Martin the Hat, Chris Hare and Northern Roy, Mark EG, Billy Nasty, and Tony devits little haunt club(Sub bass vip.)After leaving Bournemouth I ended in north Devon playing for the very best (LEGENDS Productions), providing superb club nights in Bideford, Westward HO and Barnstable,And outdoor events especially the Eclipse moon party. I would like to thank all the DJ’s who played for( Legends )John OO Fleming, The Great Tony Devit, Billy Nasty, Mark EG, Chris Liberator and Trevor Rockliffe, and Lisa pin up. MASSIVE thanks to Paul, and Nigel, for Providing a massive scene for the west country. After leaving Devon I moved to Hampshire were I opened my own record shop with my son Adam aka Buzzbee.( Fat Boy records) , I had a very good time running the shop but still missed the hard paced life I had lived. The love of music has never died in me and now at the age of forty three I am learning the production side and making my own sounds so now this is a closure of an old venture into a new one - the rebirth of( FATBOYUK.)

Just a bedroom hack, putting together mood music, be it for mach 42 speeds on a snowboard, beats for the golf course, to manage the ATL traffic or a workout mix. Maybe some will enjoy what I have a good time dabbling with---Peace

Johan, AKA Myst was born in 1983 near Paris and today lives in Charleville Mézières (north-eastern France). He was drawn into Electronic Music from an early age, he was very attracted by to the 90's House and Dance music. In 1999 he started to get an interest by producing electronic music and computer mixing, still very underdeveloped at this time. In 2003, he bought his two first Turntables and few Records. He started to gather attention by finishing 2nd at the Oxygen-Team’s contest (a local Belgian Crew). He became an Oxygen resident for 2 years, allowing him to mix with DJs such as Fixtrax, Franky Jones, Tofke... He became an Electro-userz member with his friend Marco Gayo in 2005, allowing him to mix in many French and Belgian venues and parties; Like the Krhum-Bar and the expo-park in Charleville, Nights in Aiglemont, few gigs at the Bloody Moon near Givet, some parties in Seloigne, Brussels, Liège (BE)… In 2007, he became Resident of the Marbrier disco-bar (Chimay-Rance, BE) with his friend Dj Krystal. At the same time, the first “We Are The Future” festival was created by Electro-Userz in the City of Les Mazures (fr). This first Edition was a very huge success. At the end of 2009, Myst joined the "Phantasiaworld" Team, a Belgian artistic crew, aim to provide shows to Clubs or Events, and Gigs to Djs. In 2010, the second edition of the “We Are The Future” Festival was a bigger success than the first. At the same time, He played in few Clubs and few Events in Belgium, like the Pulse Factory, the Opus Club… And in France, like for exemple Couloured City, at the end of the year, in Charleville. In 2011, He played for a few Electro-Userz shows, such as K fé-in parties. The 3rd edition of We are the future festival is a huge success again and allowed Johan to play with one of his mentors: the French DJ/Producer RPO, as well as several other international headliners. In June there was his last show with Electro Userz (Music Day @ Rocroi, w/ Solidarocks). He Left the Electro-Userz Crew in the middle of the year 2011, and starded a little breack in his career. During this break, he played in some littles show like a very good night called "Sensé-tion" at Bourg-Fidèle, FR, and some littles radio show at Radio-Panach (FR) . He's back in the Electro-Userz Crew after 9 months off, for a lot of news adventures ... His influences in the beginning was Djs like: Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha and John Digweed of course, such as Dave Seaman, James Zabiela, French man RPO or even Belgians Tc Brain, Marko de la Rocca, Pole Folder … Finding now his own touch and adapting himself to the Crowd, his Shows are real little stories, spanning from Tech-House to Mellow / Dark Progressive, or more Dancefloor designed Progressive Music.
