DJ Dan Carter Hi, I'm Dan Carter. I began DJ'ing in 2008 for online internet radio stations. I first started at www.SplashRadio.co.uk, broadcasting the home run show between 4-7pm. I am currently at www.themixradio.co.uk, broadcasting the late bit on a Tuesday evening between 8-10pm. I got into club DJ'ing at the age of 14, DJ'ing at my local u18 events at Metros Nightclub. I done this for up to a year, and to this day I am 17 years old and currently the resident DJ for thursday & saturday nights. I hold residencies in Metros Nightclub in Carmarthen, Eddies & The Pavillion in Haverfordwest & The Lounge in Swansea. I play a mixture of chart, commercial house, rnb and funky house music. My favourite club DJ is David Guetta and my favourite Radio Presenter is Scott Mills (Radio 1) or Rich Clark (Big Top 40 Show). Far too many to mention!! but K Klass,Shades of Rythmn back in the day. Always wanted to be Carl Cox back in the Helterskelter and Dreamscape days of clubing . Love Vandalism remixes they sure know how to remix a tune. Favorite tune recently has to be Axwell- I Found You - Now thats oldskool Piano! Best Tune Ever Has to Be "Last Rythmn - Last Rythmn" , What a tune to end the night.Love the classics Ce Ce Rogers is a legend what a voice ! you can't beat the classics.Recent influences are people such as Pete Tong. I love to collect various types of music and do mix sets. I got started in 2004 and never looked back. From the age of 3 or so, I could remember making detailed observations about music. I was kind of counting music at a very young age. I would associate the notes with the colors I saw. Even though my vocabulary was non existent at the time, I would use what I could to reference it in my head. It was never the words, but the sounds that would hit my mind first. - Dehydr8ed represents a unique style of electronic music creation and manipulation. Jason Randall and I (Niko Benetos) met in 2011 here on House-mixes.com. Since then we have become very close friends. We are both focused on pushing the limits of music manipulation and mixing in different ways. I have been using Ableton Live for 9 years now. I Strip down tracks to samples, then arrange them with parts of others and my own synth, basslines percussion and effects to create a unique dance music experience. There are no limits as to what can be done. Most of my sets use about 20 channels and could take 50 to 100 hours to complete. Jason Randall is simply put the best DJ on the planet. He is using upto 6 decks along with samplers and effects units and although he is the King of dark pounding techno he can throw down in any style and make the most seasoned of DJs seem amateur. Don't waste your time reading this, just press play on the sets to see for yourself. I would Like to thank everybody for all the excellent comments and downloads. This is a great place to catch new artists and DJs and the music fans on this site are the best in the world. The comments and feedback I recieve here really drive me to put out the nastiest electronic dance music sets i possibly can. Thank you all!!
