Past: Roland made his first experiences with “producing music” in Germany the early 90's. The equipment: Good old Amiga and some tracker. Inspired by Kraftwerk, Westbam, etc. That was the moment who set the ball rolling. Infected by the Music-Virus especially the Trance genre, he also spent every free minute to stay behind the turntables. The local vinyl store was his 2nd home for couple of years and the first adress to stay updated and to be deeply involved into the scene. Around 1998 Roland was guest DJ in some clubs around his hometown. In this time he formed an hobby to art. 2011: After some Years dealing with life and a timeout from music he found way back on track with new ideas and projects. Actually you can find him as Guest-DJ on several Radiostations. Radio Hitec (Netherlands) is one of his most common & favorite Stations where you can also listen to his latest productions: Deep Down Below, Fading out reality, Behind the light, Simply Me (etc). Present: On the way up to keep people dancing! May it be with new own productions or performing at events. Massive success at the big outdoor festival "Slokdarm Festival 5 2012" (Veghel-NL) with thousands of celebrating party peoples. Roland deVince made 'em going wild and electrified with an outstanding performance for the verry first time abroad. Future: That's what you can expect in future! Keep your ears & eyes open! You will catch him around your favorite club, events, or anywhere good music plays behind the decs. “Music is my passion. Melody in head and bass in heart. Love it or hate it! That’s me”

technics sl 1210m5g (x2), rane empath rotary, Serato lil bit o' this... lil bit o' that Catch me each and every Friday and Saturday Night at Cosmo/Lava in Midtown, Atlanta!! http://www.cosmolava.com/ If you are in the South (USA) be on the lookout for future Jacked UP! Events Having grown up a "Rink Rat", I developed a love for all styles of music at an early age. I have to give some major credit to Jeff Green (R.I.P) who was the greatest influence I had on my DeeJaying. Disco, funk, early electro, freestyle and hip hop are huge influences and led me to discover house music at the tail end of the 80's / early 90's. Started DeeJaying around '92 and a few years later found myself throwing and playing raves and EDM weeklies all over Atlanta. Did the rave thing til '03 and got into the clubs around then doing the top 40/rap thing. Held numerous residencies in the ATL. Now I have re discovered my roots and found again the music that started me on this journey 30 yrs ago... Please enjoy my mixes... I try to do a little of everything.. mainly house, disco, 80's. As always: complaints, comments and compliments are welcomed! technics mk2 turntable 2 many 2 name it ;) Embed Jukebox Player Embed a jukebox player on any website with the following HTML code to stream all of Dj Velvet's mixes! Over mij: here some info about DJ Velvet. In 1988 DJ Velvet discovered his love of clubs and house music and got caught by the DJ bug. His success was instant and he picked up support from clubbers and promoters across the globe. After 2 successful seasons he set his sights to the top and decided to go all the way. Dj Velvet got more and more involved in the music so that in spring 1995 he played at big clubs all over the world. Nowadays he is dividing his time between producing and his big love, DJ-ing. His goal is to become one of the top DJ's in the world. DJ Velvet likes to describe his main style as groovy, sexy, pumping house with a progressive twist. He can be very different from one production to another. His ability to move the crowd with his flawless, energetic set, and his driving enthusiasm shakes the clubbers as he dances around behind the decks. In 1992 he was invited to be a guest DJ next too DJ Jean at club IT in Amsterdam. That was his first step in to the Hot nightlife of Amsterdam, and he decided never to leave it ever again. His decision at that time was the right one. He is very happy that he chose the Dance scene, His heart definitely lies with Techno , TechTrance , Trance and Club Music. He played with a lot of very famous DJ's like Jurgen, Spider ,Jean and many many many more..... more 2 come i create my own style now for more than 22years i'm in this industry... but i listen often clasical music for my inspiration

dual denon 100 decks (a bit beat up lol), alien laptop, traktor pro, dedicated media external drive. and a deep rooted need to bless the decks with the hottest traks. progressive, electronic, movie clips. fx, samples, commercial. a knife, a couple of stacks, and bones, along with some special surprises muahahahahahah.......... paul oakenfold, tiesto, simon cox, armin van burren, chuckie, edx, depeche mode, and countless others past present and future WARNING: ITS ALL ABOUT THE BASS!! ALL UP IN YOUR SORRY FUCKING FACE!!!! its new school with some of that old school flavor, as i try to deliver the best of both worlds my goal will be to take you with me on a journey to the other side with every mix i make, and dance your fucking @ss off. i dont play no soft bullshit if your into hard floor snapping basslines, mind numbing hooks, delicious crescendos, and soulful vocals than you came to the right place. if i achieve what i set out to do cool if not fuck you than. iam not looking to be the best, i dont give a shit about money, fame or awards, or what you think is hot, breaking all the rules here its all about the love and how these beats make me feel and sending them out to whoever wants to listen. if it turns out iam fucking your whole shit up with massive body jacking beats than cool. if not than keep it moving cause my style is an acquired taste, but if your feeling any of my mixes and you go clubbing than you should feel right at home, meaning its been developed from some of the hottest clubs in nyc from pacha nyc to cielo and webster hall, having met numerous djs at these and other venues and learning the ins and outs about keeping a dance floor packed. my mixes are not for your little laptop or family surround sound system, my shit is meant for big fucking speakers that bleed out 1,000 plus watts of pure rhythmic beats. from the first track to the last you never know what iam gonna hit you with, but one things for sure my shit is designed to keep you on your feet, and out of breathe when its over.to be real iam still fairly new at this, though ive been in the music scene for many years. it wasnt until around 2006 that i decided just listening to other djs wasnt enough, i needed to start dishing out my aggression on other dancers. but my endeavers have not been without frustrations, from tossed broken cds to feeling like giving up, never really satisfied with my efforts, and yet i keep coming back, the music calling me driving me to better my audio prowess, and so i continue to try and improve on everything i know, and everything thats needed to fuck you up, from the minute you press play or the second you walk into one of my parties. though ive learned much from my friend and mentor carlos nacimiento whos dj'd across the globe, as well as numerous djs kind enough to pass down there secrets. i still feel the need to elevate my style, and find that missing element to my mixes, and until i do my journey will continue until i become a master of the craft. my passion will always be progressive house, because thats the shit when it comes to fucking up dance floors. but i do like to mix other genres as well when iam in the mood, especially commercial so stop by often to see what ive tried my hand at. but if you download my shit, take the time to comment it doesnt take much, i work hard on these mixes, it takes hours and hours to design them and develop a flow, are they perfect? nope...but they still kick all kinds of ass, and once i get the formula right iam gonna unleash something thats gonna kick and break all kinds of asses near and far, and when you hear the name ominous youll be afraid to hear what i laid out for you, wondering if you can handle it. so that being said if you choose to hang with me while i keep trying to develop and sharpen my own distinct style, chime in with your comments from time to time good or bad i dont give a fuck just let me know whats up. if your following me, follow for more than just my mixes. in time what i envision will come to fruition, and when it does i hope youll be a part of it, if not than fuck off. everybody else welcome and enjoy the ride cause this shit is gonna be epic. rm_f1st('5','220','true','false','381b1b','av01ia1zz9f','true','ff0000');
