Hi all DJ FUNK ere Don,t dj out at clubs now after 35 years of clubbing & djing happy memories (old age catching up,,lol, and now i,ve started djing back up again at home looking for a new chapter, just to let the crowd no i,am still around and now i dj as a hobbie and i do a weekly show on GLOBALDNB.COM every saturday!!....my passion is the music and vibe that you get from the listeners,, ,,and now i still feel the same passion for music now as i did way bk then,,music is the1 thing that's help me through good and bad times...so may the ride continue...long live the vibe... :-) all my mixes are done liveon cdj decksstraight to sound forgeand thats it no fancy programs just straight free style mixing oldskool.. . not that ive got anthing against gadgets.. only just started useing cdj decks last 2 years.. hope you all enjoy my sets.. feel free to leave comments all feedback welcome good or bad..take care all .. big shout out goes out to all djs on HM and paul for his hard work on HM..And not forgeting 4 long time friends [dj Darkrider],[dj morpheus], [dj charks,],[dj supremacy] and [patrick.].thanks for your surpport over the last 30 years or so we are all getting older but still going strong all for the love and passion for music...may the ride continue!! peace n lv Like to say a big thank you to all who check out my sets and listen to them or download and save them. full of sume old some new Jonny T (aka Cypresschill) was born in Rugeley in the UK in 1974 At the age of 12, Jonny gravitated to the DJs of the time, and was amazed as they mixed and blended the music into a seamless continuity of harmonics. He knew that a set of turntables was needed if he was to pursue his interest. He witnessed the progression of styles and influences over a number of years, going back to old skool house music of the 80s His own vinyl soon accumulated into a collection, and was sourced from many UK records shops, such artists included: Tommy Musto, Frankie Bones, Beastie Boys and early Hip Hop. The underground dance music scene has always been an area of interest and fascination to JT since, and over a period of time the mixing became second nature to him. Keen to rise up the ranks and build a name for himself, he made the break from bedroom DJ to DJing in the local clubs of the time, the pinnacle being a DJ set at the legendary Quest in Wolverhampton. “I am keen not to associated with a specific genre of music, I like to read the crowd and keep my sets dynamic, to have a eclectic music collection is the key. I have progressed with the underground scene over a number of years from old skool happy hardcore ’91-’94 thru to my current passion that is Liquid Drum and Bass.
