While working on this project I had a difficult time deciding whether to use samples from 70's Philly soul or 60's and 70's Motown. However, after listening to Station Wagon Soul mixtape by Hevehitta, DJ Unexpected's & Tapemasta I decided to use samples taken from tunes in the mix.
With exception of using a sample from "Nothing Can Come Between Us" by Sade for my remix of 2nd II None's "Nuthin Has Changed" all samples were taken from the Station Wagon Soul mixtape.
Featuring samples from Gladys Knight & The Pips, Melvin Sparks, Archie Bell & The Drells, The Soul Searchers and more I hope you all enjoy Volume II of the ReWorked series
